App to download music in MP3
Some time ago, Dilandau and goear were two services that we could use to listen to and download music in MP3 format. However, the pressure put on music piracy and the rise of legal online music services via streaming of the likes of Spotify with really affordable rates has led to the extinction of these services.
Nevertheless, we can still come across a few Android applications to download music for free as is the case of AReGo Mp3 Downloader, a service that allows you to download songs precisely from the two above-mentioned platforms: goear and Dilandau.
An app for oldies that still download songs.
If you download this APK to your smartphone, you'll see that it's not too different to other similar applications: a very basic and functional design, and a tremendously simple functionality. Just write the word to search for, find your song, and start downloading it.
Main features
- Simple method to search for songs.
- Download several of them at the same time.
- Establish the desired download directory for each file.
- Choose between two search engines.
- Configure the color of your choice for the application's interface.
However, you might find that the application doesn't work exactly how it should because the services it's based on stopped running quite some time ago. The latest version of this MP3 downloader is 1.82 and doesn't look like they're going to release any more, but who knows: its developers might surprise us with the ultimate Spotify Download that we all want to have on our smartphone ever since this service was launched (or even an Apple Music Downloader).
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 1.6.
- The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
